PHP Software Developer

Tech Troopers help people and companies getting their electronics up and running. We’re a crowdsourced company which means that we have built a community of quality-tested and dedicated technicians who’d like to help other people in their spare time. Our goal is to always be the obvious choice to turn to for technology hassles and we’ve come a long way since our start in 2015.

Now we’re looking for a PHP Software Developer to join us in our mission to be the best provider of tech support for the home and small office. You will develop our platform which serves customers as well as our technicians both through the web and via our API to our native app. Being an early member of our team, you will help build our service from the ground up and have a lot of influence on the final product. This will be a good place for you if you thrive in fast-paced environments and also like to deliver things with good quality.

What we’re looking for in you:

You have been working in a similar role, building web platforms or applications.
3+ years working with Object Oriented PHP and MySQL
Easy to interact and collaborate with other people
Great skills in English, speaking and writing.

Nice to have:

Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Front end experience with the usual suspects (HTML5, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, React)
Creating RESTful APIs with JSON or XML
Experience with the Symfony2 or Silex frameworks
