About Group IT

Group IT is located in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are 1400 employees responsible for running the bank, developing and maintening business strategic and central systems in Swedbank.

All development is managed in projects and we deliver approximately 600 projects and pre-studies during a business year.

Through understanding and acting from the needs of our internal customers, we offer the group competitive IT-solutions which support new products and high level services to our clients.

Swedbank Group IT is in the process of developing a new digital platform on which we are building our future: Mobile and Web-based Internet Bank. We have an exciting journey ahead of us and now we are looking for two Java/Front End Developers to join our agile team and help us build our future digital offering in Umeå (Ersboda).

Assignment specification

Within Swedbank IT the department Swedish Banking, Online Channels is working with providing the latest functionality within the Online and Mobile Bank area. We have teams located in Umeå, Stockholm, and Vilnius. As a Department we are always at the front edge regarding new technology and working methods. We operate in a very fast moving environment in tight cooperation with our Business area, Swedish Banking. The area is characterized by high business demands, speed and a continuous development.

As a team member you will be involved in the development process from start to finish in some of our most exciting projects with the Online and Mobile area. The role will include working with requirements, design and implementation of technical solutions based on modern technologies like Java, Spring, REST, HTML5 and AngularJS. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, interacting with Business, Test Managers, Developers, Architects and Project Managers. You will have the opportunity to make an impact and create great value for our end customers.

You are the one we are looking for if you;

Have passion for Java Knowledge in frameworks (Spring, AngularJS, Jasmine/Karma) A Degree in an appropriate IT/Design discipline Excellent language skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
The following will be considered an advantage:

Experience of Java/Web development , as well as with J2EE Experience in HTML, CSS3, JavaScript and Git, and the ability to write structured and semantic code Experience in Ajax and asynchronous web services with REST/JSON Experience developing responsive and adaptive solutions for mobiles, tablet and desktops
