Record Union is looking for a Data Engineer to join a new team within the company. Record Union is an innovative start-up based in Stockholm that runs a distribution platform which puts artists’ music on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play and many more platforms. We create artist opportunities through our partnerships, music expertise and data science. Our vision is to democratise music through technological solutions that break the moth-eaten borders and traditions of the industry!

THE ROLE
In order to accelerate the opportunities for our artists we are constantly aiming to improve our partnerships and analytical capabilities. To advance further in this area Record Union are therefore looking for a data engineer/software developer to continue develop our music analytics platform!
You will be part of a new team based in Gothenburg with the responsibility to build the next generation of our analytics platform, including the data pipeline, the analytics and the application glue binding it all together.
PROFILE
• 5+ years professional experience within Software Development, Data Science, or similar
• A very ambitious engineer with a great deal of drive and intellectual curiosity.
• A solid education with good grades.
• Promising programming skills, in languages/frameworks like C#/.Net, SQL, Python and Scala.
• Experience from successful software development projects.
• Proven skills in statistics and mathematics.
• Experience in machine learning.
• Experience with data processing.
