We are looking for a talented developer with a keen interest in artificial intelligence and its use in game development to join our newly created AI Bot team in Stockholm.

Your role within our great Kingdom

As part of our central AI team, you will work closely with game developers to develop bots capable of playing our games intelligently using state-of-the-art AI-techniques. Combining a Monte Carlo Tree Search (MCTS) bot and a heuristic Artificial Neural Network approach, the central AI team is pushing the boundaries of how we predict the human behavior in our games.

If you are an experienced C++ developer who enjoys fast-evolving products, experimental environments and great games, we would love to hear from you. As a an AI developer at King, you will be developing, implementing and advancing our search method and automatic heuristic construction using MCTS and machine learning, enabling the game teams to streamline testing and designing and to continue focusing on making fantastic games!

Skills to create thrills

Solid working knowledge of C++
Passionate about making great games
Experience with or a pronounced interest in AI applications
Ability to deliver high quality and well-structured code
Ability to design components used by other developers
Experience with working in an agile, fast moving environment

Tasty bonus skills

Experience in working with games and/or game engines
Experience of iOS/Android development
Experience with cross-platform development
Experience of working with TDD
Previous experience of development in other languages is a plus
