About the role and responsibilities:
Designing and developing program logic for new applications and analyzing and modifying logic in existing applications according to customer specifications. Modifying existing internal software products to add to new functions, adapting to new hardware, improving performance or enhance product usability. Ensuring that applications are compatible across multiple platforms and browsers.

Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:
University degree in computer science, information technology, software development or similar

Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
At least 5 years of work experience in Java application development and JBoss application server
Previous experience with C Sharp and .net
Excellent language skill in written and spoken English
Experience from working with financial systems, especially clearing/settlement systems, would be a plus

Nasdaq is now looking for a Java Developer to join the Nasdaq Packaged CCP team at the Stockholm office. You will be part of a large team of Software Developers responsible for delivering our new off the shelf product Nasdaq Packaged CCP – a highly sophisticated Central Counterparty Clearing (CCP) system – to major clearinghouses. Working in a cross-functional scrum team consisting of Business Analysts, Software Developers and Testers, you will take an important part in designing and impacting new functionalities and from scratch as well as maintaining and further develop its existing functions.
