Front-end developer to Mentimeter

Stockholm Headhunting has been commissioned to find a Lead Front-end developer for Mentimeter.

Mentimeter i a Swedish start-up company establish in 2014. Currently they have about 6 million users and their product are used in 55 different countries. They were ranked as Swedish seventh fastest growing stat-up company this year and have grand plans for the future. Mentimeter is a global company that is, and strive to remain, a diverse and equal organization and to build a product that will appeal to meeting cultures all around the world. 

Mentimeter delivers a product to create a interactive, engaging and productive meetings. Their customers include many of the most demanding business in the world. Mentimeter is a creative and challenging workplace and currently the company consist of nine employees, including the development team of six technically skilled persons. Menitimeter is located in attractive premises at Briger Jarlsgatan in central Stockholm. They are constantly growing and are therefore looking for a kick-ass talented Front- end developer for their core team.

In the role as Front-end developer at Mentimeter you will take ownership of Mentimeter Editor, Presentation View and web page. Together with the rest of the team you will run the whole development and product process, be responsible for a real-time visual platform for collaboration and interactive presentations. You will you will take their product to the next level, develop new features and customize the product. The role also include to take lead for the frontend development and mentor new coworkers

We think that you have a few years of experience as developer in JavaScript and it is highly preferably if you have a relevant engineering degree. You have a major interest in Front- end development. Mentimeter work with ES 6, React, D3, BEM, LESS, Webpack and Web Sockets. It will be favorable if you are curious or knowledgable about those or similar techniques and frameworks and are curious about design, UX and new technologies.

As a person, you are responsible, driven and communicative. You have a product perspective and the ability to manage your own work and partly also others. You enjoy working in teams towards common goals and want to develop together with your colleagues.
