Experienced System tester for .NET applications Scania IT

Industrial Control IT within Scania IT is responsible for delivering .NET products to secure daily business operation and accelerate business development for O2D business. The team consist of Maintenance Manager, System Analyst, Software Architect and Developers that are responsible for complete deliveries to our customers and users. The team is involved in the entire system development process, from concept development to implementation and maintenance. We are aiming for self-supporting teams with focus on quality assurance. We have an agile way of working and support different applications built in .NET mostly for Industrial Control, Production and Logistic.

Your role
We can offer you a role as a member of a development team where your responsibility will be to find problems and bugs in our systems. You will perform test on new and enhanced functionality within our area ,i.e. smoke tests (acceptance testing), functional testing and performance tests.  In this role you need to have a good understanding of the IT system development lifecycle and be used to work in agile way with good knowledge in test discipline including test automatization. Our tester will work closely with the team but also with business to secure the quality of our delivery’s.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with experience in Selenium testing of .NET applications. We also think you have the following:
Experience with Automated and manual testing
Experience with writing and documenting test cases
good analytical and systematic skills
good in planning, both short term and long term

We expect applicants to be organised, solution oriented and a service-minded approach with a focus on quality. To be successful in this role you will also need to have good communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with several parties within the business. You are happy working in a team, but are also capable of working independently. As the corporate language is English, the position requires the ability to speak, write and understand English at a high level.
