Glooko/Diasend simplify life for people with diabetes and facilitates the work of their health care providers by optimizing diabetes data management.

Our comprehensive and market leading solutions involve uploading, storing and analyzing data from a clear majority of the diabetes devices currently available on the global market – allowing patients and caregivers to easily access, understand and share the same information. This equals highly valuable support for people with diabetes both during and in-between doctor visits, and makes the work of diabetes coaches around the world much more efficient and accurate.

Over the last few years we have grown quickly and are now at the point of the next big phase of expansion, aiming at establishing a presence with new exciting products in several markets within the near future. And to get there, the search for a number of new talented and driven co-workers has now begun.

We are a global company with about 80 employees, located in Silicon Valley, Chicago, London and Gothenburg – currently serving 4 000 diabetes clinics in 23 countries across 15 languages, impacting the lives of tens of millions of people with diabetes on a daily basis. Our largest owners are Samsung Ventures, Medtronic, Canaan Partners and Social Capital.

In our Gothenburg office we are approximately 30 co-workers and are responsible for sales, customer support and marketing for all international markets, except North America. We also have a dedicated product development team that works for all global markets.

Role description  

• Being a part of the dedicated UX/UI team you will use customer insights and data, plus your extraordinary creativity and design expertise, to solve users’ problems with elegant, highly functional designs.
• Define, communicate, and drive interaction designs for Glooko/Diasend mobile and web apps.
• Partner with product managers, customer success managers to help define and refine product requirements.
• Constantly maintain your expertise in the latest design approaches and techniques, and apply them appropriately to Glooko/Diasend products.
• Create storyboards, mock-ups, wireframes, prototypes, interaction specs, and high-fidelity design specs as needed.
• Participate in (and sometimes drive) user research planning and execution.
• Collaborate and share your expertise with other designers, product managers, software engineers,
and Glooko/Diasend management.
• Advocate for the user and user-centered design.
• Grow with the company as we revolutionize the world of diabetes management.

About you

• 3-5 years experience designing customer-centric web and mobile apps (iOS and Android).
• Passion for creating a product that truly helps people with diabetes live healthier, better lives.
• Collaborative, learning mindset, constantly seeking improvement. Eager to grow and share knowledge.
• A portfolio that demonstrates your exceptional design skills, production values and attention to detail.
• Action-oriented, thrive in an environment that requires strong problem-solving skills, independent
self-direction, and timely execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A degree in design, human factors, user experience or related field.
• Bonus points for background in industrial design.
• Bonus points for experience with data visualization and/or complex task flows and experience
working in agile teams.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, Zeplin and JIRA.
