As a Software Developer your role will consist of writing software that will help us generate business value to Universum?s clients and partners all over the world. With a close-knit team with different competencies and skill-sets, a typical day in the office is filled with a lot of interesting conversations, creative problem solving and last but not least, a lot of laughing. We see ourselves as a bunch of data-centric, challenge-loving people that are passionate about making Universum?s global employer branding surveys the best ones.
You will:
- Work with our report generation process and data collection tools
- Write code that performs calculations and transformations on our data that generates unique reports for our clients
- Develop the tools that drives our surveys that we perform yearly in 43 different countries
- Work with data visualisation in our reports
You have:
- A passion for developing and learning new stuff
- The Computer Science fundamentals. Maybe a degree, maybe not (if you are the right person, we don't care)
- A respect for clean code and craftsmanship
- Been programming for some time, preferably in languages/frameworks like: JavaScript (both frontend and backend), C#, Excel programming (VBA)
- An urge to keep up to date by following/reading blogs and twitter feeds, attend conferences or meet-ups (or at least feel bad that you don't do enough of it)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
