At the moment we are looking for the right persons to fill openings as Software Engineer in the Network and Framework team.

WHAT IS FIRMWARE PLATFORM? Network & Framework is a team within the Research & Development (R&D) department at Axis which is responsible for the development of new functionality in our software platform, in user-space Linux. The team you will be joining is focusing on Linux, Event system and Networking. We work in specialized teams, aiming at the middle layer (User Space Linux) and working with code ownership in a similar fashion to Open Source projects .

WHAT WILL YOU DO? As a Software Engineer in our teams you will be involved in all phases of development - from innovation/first ideas and all the way through design and implementation until final release to the market.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We believe the right candidate has a Master's degree in computer science or equivalent and experience in C programming and Linux environment. It is an advantage if you have experience as Linux system administrator, Networking, Gnu tools, Python and Git. As a good communicator you will have good skills in English, both written and verbal.

We are working in Agile teams with high level of responsibility, so we believe it is important that you are good in team work and see it as an privilege to develop through your colleagues. It is also important that you can contribute to a good and productive working environment. You are a curious and technically-minded person and we expect that you are proactive and take initiatives.
