Cybercom in Gothenburg has a long tradition within the Automotive industry domains like body and chassis electronics, powertrain, IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment) and connected vehicle. We also take part of the emerging area Advanced Driver Assistant Systems (ADAS) moving into Autonomous Drive ahead, an evolution that will lead to reduced fuel consumption and carbon footprint and requires extended connection to services outside the vehicle. This is well in harmony with Cybercom’s environmental commitment and stretches in to activities within mobility and IoT (Internet of Things).

What are we offering?

You will develop platforms that supports application software resulting in powertrain functionalities. That means defining the software architecture and design the software as well as the tool framework, altogether forming the platform. You will work with requirement breakdown, architectural and software design, verification of the solution, build and document the software, etc. The work is conducted in a cross-functional agile way and you will also take part in technical investigations regarding the platform.

With our long tradition and long term relations in the Automotive area, you will have unique possibilities to grow in this area. However, if you feel like making a turn in your development you might aim for a vacant position in one of our team that develop features for the mobile network or there might be possibilities within our Internet of Things department who helps our clients to connect their products.

Who are you?

You are an innovative embedded software development engineer with interest or experiences from the vehicle industry. You need to be skilled in real time systems and programming in C and C++. It’s a plus if you are familiar with XML information processing and formatting through XSL Style sheet. Preferably, you also have knowledge in embedded software architecture, design and verification. But above all your attitude is crucial as well as your drive and energy.

Another thing of importance is the ability to work in team, to communicate with team mates and take on responsibility, since a lot of work is done in an agile context.

Your education corresponds to a B.Sc. or M.Sc.

Fluent English, orally and written, is mandatory. If Swedish is not your mother tongue, an ambition to learn it is of course a plus and important to better get into and be part of the culture.
