Connectivity Analysis Engineer

The department Driver Interaction and Infotainment is one of the fastest growing areas within automotive today. Volvo Cars has successfully launched a cutting edge. Driver Interaction and Infotainment system, and is committed to continuous success. You will part of the Infotainment Connectivity Analysis and Verification group. The group are responsible for analysis and verification of Connectivity, Connected Services, Telephony/Bluetooth and Telematics feature areas.

As Connectivity Analysis Engineer you will work with test methods, testing and writing test reports within the Connectivity and security functionality area.
Main responsibilities

* Create and maintain test methods, conduct testing and writing test reports within the Connected Services functionality area
* Set up a verification plan based upon the test strategy provided by test leader and upon system and functional content and SW releases
* Plan for, and carry out, joined test sessions with suppliers
* Review requirements from development teams and supplier documentation
* Perform deep analysis when needed
* Follow-up system verification status including risks and need for actions and action plans
* Follow-up analysis and verification conducted by supplier

Required qualifications

* Master degree or higher of electrical- computer science, or similar
* Deep knowledge within network security related testing
* Driving license B
* Ability to travel
* ISTQB certified is meritorious
* Experience of working test/sniffer tools is meritorious
* Knowledge of common vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, MOST, Ethernet, GATS) is meritorious
* Programming experience in Python and C# is meritorious
* Experience of software test automation is meritorious
