Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer you work with quality assurance of Teleopti’s web applications for strategic workforce management. The product consists of a number of advanced areas that handle complex problems such as scheduling, optimization and forecasting.

The person we are looking for would never do the same task twice without trying to find a way to automate it, no matter how complex the task is, and take pride in doing so.

How about the job?

Work closely with the Product owners and customers to understand their needs and turn them into test scenarios
Make sure that all functionality is sufficiently tested and provide feedback to the developers
Actively seek out opportunities to automate our quality assurance processes
Drive and take initiatives to always improve Teleopti’s products and processes

You have solid knowledge of how to plan, perform and report test work
You have at least basic programming skills.
You are familiar with SQL server (databases) and web applications (based on JavaScript, HTML 5)
You make sure to keep up to date with the latest trends within testing and quality assurance
You most likely have a university degree within computer science or similar and an excellent analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Experience from Windows and web automation, behavior-driven development, load testing and continuous integration is advantageous. These new positions are placed at our new Teleopti office in Gävle. There are also R&D offices in Stockholm, Strängnäs and in Shenzhen, China.
