THE TEAM
The thermal camera R&D team is responsible for developing Axis thermal surveillance cameras, and related technology knowledge in this domain. Axis thermal cameras are based uncooled technology and designed for non-military use.
What do we want you to do
You will part of our engineering team and our camera development projects. Your focus will be to develop software for our thermal cameras. This includes e.g.:
Translate requirements into useful features Perform analysis, design, implementation and write unit tests of new features Integrate and verify software created by other Axis departments Perform advanced debugging of embedded systems Innovate and implement new camera features Test and prototype new ideas Have fun
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
In additions to the skills needed to complete the tasks listed above, we believe you have a curious and problem solving mind, a degree that gives you a good foundation in mathematics and physics. You are used to work in a Linux environment with Python, C, and Octave or similar. You are fluent in writing and speaking English and at least in speaking Swedish.
As a person, you are communicative, have a humorous mind, you like to toss around ideas and inspire your colleagues. To be competitive we need to be innovative, the team generates a number of patent applications every year and we want you to be an inspiring party in this. You don't mind taking the role as an educator of customers and colleagues. Finally you are persistent team player and able to finish what has been started
