Data Scientist- Telecom- International environment

This is an opportunity for an experienced Data Scientist to join a global leader in the telecom sector. The role is based in Stockholm and you will be a part of an international environment with a progressive and forward thinking team.

As a Data Scientist at this company your job will be to:

- Develop machine learning techniques on a vast amount of data
- Work closely with IT and the business department to develop the journey of data through the company
- Develop statistical models to avoid churn and also next best offer models

In this role it is crucial with experience of working as a Data Scientist, as it is a senior role. With this you should have experience in:

- 5 years hands on experience of programming in R or Python
- Experience of working in Hadoop is a plus
- You should have come across SAS (Both SAS Base, EG and EM)
- Your academic background should be in statistics or mathematics, but if you have relevant working experience this could be a plus as well
