We are now looking to fill an open position as a Technical Support Engineer. You will work with the latest technology and will be part of the proud team with total responsibility for support and training of customers, partners and distributors worldwide.

The Opportunity

As a Technical Support Engineer, based in Malmö, you will be part of the proud team providing expert help to customers, distributors and partners worldwide.

Your main tasks will be to resolve technical issues through competent and inclusive trouble shooting, engage in training and educational initiatives and occasional field support.

The role as Technical Support Engineer is collaborative and you will work closely together with our R&D, Product Management, Quality and Sales teams to handle and solve cases.

The successful applicant
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic engineer with prior experience as a Software developer, Support engineer or Field Application Engineer, preferably within the automation industry. The successful applicant should also have some experience in object oriented programming (preferably .NET/C#).

In addition to the above, experience from some of the following areas is desirable:
• HMI/Scada programming/design
• Communication (Field buses, Serial, TCP/IP)
• PLC programming

You may have a technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Electronics or Computer Science, alternatively we value relevant work experience. Since we work in an international environment, excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English is a prerequisite. Additional languages are considered a merit.

We believe you have a genuine interest in finding the right solution for our customers. This means that you have great trouble shooting and problem solving skills combined with an excellent customer focus. You enjoy customer interactions which can include occasional travel.
