System Developer

As a system developer you will work with the development and management of our production-related IT systems. You have experience in .NET and databases, an advantage with experience as a system architect and Open VMS and production environment. Placement is Borlänge.

About the position
Production-related IT’s mission is to manage and develop production-related IT systems. The number of systems increases and we have upcoming retirements, which mean that we need to strengthen our skills. Our systems run under Open VMS and Windows .NET environment. The department is also prepared to maintain the systems very high demands on availability around the clock.

As a developer, you will be involved in projects where you are involved in the whole chain from the proposed solution to the realization and testing of applications.

You will also be part of a management to further develop existing systems and maintain the level of service set for our various services in an SLA (Service Level Agreement). You will as developer be responsible for the quality of work performed and that it takes place at the right time, and will be well documented.

It may also be relevant to be part of 24/7 support outside office hours.

Your qualifications
You must have extensive experience in the development, mainly in Windows .NET, SQL Server and possibly experience in OpenVMS, Oracle RDB.

It is an advantage to have:
Experience in system design, system architecture, project management, process modeling
Experience from production environment
Experience of automation and PLC systems

We are looking for an open and positive person with good ability in a close dialogue work with people and be service oriented. Since we conduct work mostly in teams we consider you interpersonal skills essential.

You are dedicated and thorough with great responsibility and should have good analytical skills to independently create solutions.

Project requires time schedules and results, we assume that you also take the initiative to complete the mission.

You have a University degree and that you should master English well in speech and writing.
