Westermo is looking for a Software Test Framework Developer to Västerås
As Software Test Developer at Westermo you will be part of an engaged and highly skilled team that is responsible for our world class automated system level test environment. Together with the team, you will contribute by refining our test framework's capabilities for existing and future product releases. In addition to the primary focus on Python-based test framework development, a natural part of your work is trouble shooting. The work location is at our R&D office in Västerås where our skilled Software R&D personnel are already waiting for you to become part of our team. Our automated system level test environment provides continuous feedback to all developers who contribute to the development of our embedded Linux based products.

Qualifications and personal skills
As a Software Test Developer at Westermo you will become an expert on our products and network solutions. To assist you in making this transition, experience in both test development and the data communications area is beneficial.

We are looking for a person who is interested in software development in general and preferably works with test development and/or have good understanding of data communications products. We believe that you at least have a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering and a few years experience from product development and test development. You have experience from software development on Linux using Python, C and shell scripts. If you have experience from ISTQB it would be considered a plus. It is beneficial if you have experience in industrial automation equipment, network protocols and development/test of embedded products. You have good skills in writing and speaking Swedish as well as English.
