About the position

You will be a key person in the development and maintenance of the backend for a number of our internally developed applications that are part of an information management suite. These applications are being continuously improved and we are also developing new functionalities and services.

In this work, you will have a chance to develop something completely new while building on the experience and knowledge from your colleagues across all teams at the Development department. This position also requires close collaboration with frontend developers, stakeholders, end users etc. For this you need to be a team player with strong communication skills and a pro-active mind-set.

Your background

A successful candidate has at least 3 years of experience of development experience in Python. You also need to have experience from working with object-relational mapping (ORM) or model based web framework. Since we are working according to Agile software development principles we want you to have working experience from Agile and more specifically Scrum based development.

It is important for us that the candidate has a passion for Python and backend development. We are looking for an individual with the capability to efficiently use their own knowledge and experience in these fields in the best possible way.

A successful candidate also has working experience with REST APIs and SQL databases. It is an advantage to have knowledge and experience with Python/Django, Django REST framework and PostgreSQL. Finally, having frontend development experience would also be an advantage.

Since NetEnt is a multi-cultural company with many nationalities employed, you need to be highly proficient in English, both written and oral. Swedish is not a requirement.
