To achieve this we need a passionate and experienced Software Test Engineer to strengthen our teams for the challenge and this is where you come in.
As a software test engineer you will be a member in our SCRUM or KANBAN teams and participate in all faces from defining requirement to final product.
You main task will be Exploratory-, Integration-, System-, Regression testing of all kinds of modules and functions on the Beijer Electronics proprietary HMI Products. The testing is done on a system level, and executed either manually or automatically through the support of C# scripting or other testing tools.
In addition to this your responsibilities will include:
• Secure the quality of the SW deliveries from different R&D and Quality Projects.
• Develop new testcases, automatic and manual
• Help the Support team on incoming support cases
• Contribution off effective SW Test User stories
• Plan and report teststatus within the development projects.
• Work with continuous improvements of test environment and processes to achieve higher quality in shorter time

The successful applicant
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic software test engineer and ready for next step in your career. You have at least three-five years of work experience within relevant areas. We require a technical secondary education with a post graduate in Software testing, Automation or equivalent, e.g. ISQTB certification.
In addition to this we see you have work experience from:
• Programming of PLC- & HMI- applications.
• Knowledge in Serial & Ethernet based communication protocols.
• Basic .NET/C# programming or scripting skills.
• Development of automatic tests, especially in embedded SW area.
• Automatic Test framework, e.g. Selenium.
• Good understanding how to build and manage Software development in
a continuous lifecycle.
Since we work in an international environment, excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English is a prerequisite. Communication in Swedish is an advantage but not a requirement.
As a person you are curious, you enjoy to find and “brick” software solutions. You have a logical mind set paired with a structured way of working. The role requires a natural passion for new technologies/methodologies.
