We are recruiting for a System Engineer in our Design & Development department.

In this role you will help Cochlear to realise its mission by executing system design and system testing of our hearing solutions.

More specifically you will:
Perform system design in areas involving acoustics, electronics, software and signal processing algorithms.
Plan, execute and report system testing of functionality and performance of our hearing solutions.
Develop tools and processes needed for the tasks above.

As a regulated company, Cochlear has a responsibility to hire people with the right skills and qualifications to do the work. To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

B.Sc. or M.Sc. Engineering degree, probably in physics, electronics, or equivalent.
Programming skills will be useful. E.g. C#, MATLAB ...
You are structured and analytical as well as practical.
Evidence of good individual, team, cross-functional and cross-regional communication skills.
Good verbal and written language skills in English and Swedish.
The ability to solve problems and collaborate to get work done that delivers benefits for Cochlear’s customers.
Curious with a commitment to lifelong learning and development.
