The consultant shall be requested to perform the following tasks:
Maintain and further develop an existing desktop application solution named HelicsWin.Net;
Address defects reported from external users;
Extend the solution with further development as needed;
Contribute to the planning and execution of test activities to ensure an acceptable quality;
Report to the assigned Group Leader in the Development section.
In addition the consultant may be requested to perform various tasks related to other projects, products, applications and services developed in the ICT Development section.
Timing of the consultancy
The selected consultant will work on site (20 % est.) and off site (80 % est.) each working day for eight hours, in an estimated timeframe from 2017-03-13 until 2018-01-31 for a maximum of 190 working days. The on site work periods will be distributed as follows: First and last two weeks of the contract. The remaining on site days will be planned in mutual agreement.
Evaluation criteria
Proven experience with system maintenance, further development and refactoring of existing systems;
Proven excellent knowledge of C# and the .NET framework 4 (or higher);
Proven knowledge and experience of implementing / maintaining solutions based on Windows Forms;
Proven knowledge and experience of implementing / maintaining solutions based on MS Access;
Proven knowledge and experience of UI design (i.e. maximizing usability and the user experience);
Motivation and communication;
Advantageous criteria: Experience with web based development based on ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS, AJAX and jQuery, WCF, TSQL and MS SQL Server
