About the role
Samtrygg is growing at a rapid pace and is currently in the process of an initial public offering. We therefore need to add new talent who wants to join us in our mission to create better terms on the sublet housing market. You will be joining our small but enthusiastic and friendly team in our newly renovated, bright office in central Stockholm. As there is no existing position of an UX-designer this is an opportunity for you to be a part in forming and developing the role. Job description
As a Product UX-designer at Samtrygg you will be responsible for creating user experience solutions for our customers. Your main focus will therefore be to deliver attractive and effective user interfaces with our product in mind. In doing so you will not only focus on making our website aesthetically pleasing, but also to show empathy for our users and making our site easy and pleasurable to use.

You will consequently:
- Create and implement intuitive and easy solutions to solve user experience and interaction problems
- Create structures and workflows for constructing and testing solutions
- Evaluate and analyze existing and potential future solutions
- Use mock ups, illustrations, relevant data etc. to communicate and provide support for concepts and ideas
- Help compile business objectives and prospective ambitions together with the CEO and CMO
- Perform user research and evaluate the current competitive landscape and trends in order to thoroughly understand users motivations and behaviours

We are looking for someone who...

- Has a couple of years of experience from working with UX
- Has a passion for finding solutions for existing and future problems in user experience
- Has an ability to take initiatives and work independently
- Enjoys working in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
- Has an eye for aesthetics
- Can use data to evaluate and measure different solutions
- Some experience from working with HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Can communicate ideas and concepts both orally and through visual tools
- Has good interpersonal skills and can work together with the CEO and CMO to find the best possible business objectives and solutions

Samtrygg was founded in order to create better conditions in the dysfunctional sublet housing market, and at the same time become a natural meeting place for people who want a safe and smooth sublease. Our service provides a safe marketplace for subleasing homes in Sweden by giving sublessors payment guarantee, sublet insurance and safe contracts. In addition, sublessees do not have to pay the deposit or advance. We take active part in helping both parties following the rules connected to the sublease and act as financial intermediary in order to minimize the risk of fraud.
