Taking on this exciting and challenging opportunity to build and run a complete new group within the R&D organisation, will provide you with an opportunity to have a key role in Atlas Copco's product development at a high level.

OM TJÄNSTEN
Academic Work is looking for a Senior System Architect for our customer Atlas Copco. This is a needed and very important role where you will be provided with an unexplored area and the opportunity to form your own role. You will also get the chance to affect how Atlas Copco develop their products within the Marketing and R&D organization and work with many technical functions. Our systems encompass mechanics, electronics, embedded and PC software, as well as many different interfaces to external systems.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As Senior System Architect, you will be part of the Controller & Systems group and lead the system council – seven colleagues spread all over the organisation. Mainly, Atlas Copco support their product development team in system issues, such as data structures in the software, defining and maintaining system interfaces, and creating best practice for this. You will ensure that system components are well structured and documented, manage incoming matters in system issues and share and spread information about architectural issues. We are presently working with data structures adapted from Google protobufs.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
You hold a University degree within Software, preferably in System Science. You have at least ten years’ experience from working with system architecture development. Given your seniority, you have an affinity for written documentation and you are used to heading meetings. Experience from database management and communication protocol is of importance, as well as for embedded systems. Today, you probably work with safety systems or within the telecommunication or pharmaceutical industry within technical equipment.

To succeed in this role you combine technical leadership skills with focus on long-term sustainability for system architectures. Along with this, you need a holistic view and an analysing mind-set. To support our product development team in system issues, you need to be a good listener and have the ability to understand others. You combine this with good general electronics’ knowledge. You have an affinity to see patterns and have sound judgement and can easily share your own opinions. Besides this, you also know how to reuse valuable and effective methods and processes within the company and how to communicate them efficiently. You are structured as well as collaborative and have that exceptional drive to make you succeed in any challenge you take on.
