Freespee is looking for a Senior Front-end Developer to join our engineering team in the Uppsala office. You will help build sleek customer-facing products making it easier than ever for companies to communicate with their customers.
At Freespee we have an open climate where you are expected to use your skills and experiences wherever they are needed. You will be solo-, pair-, peer- or mob-programming depending on what makes most sense for the task at hand. In the development teams we have adopted an Agile mindset, releasing new functionality at least every two weeks.
As a person you are constantly seeking new skills and sharing these among your peers. You have a strong drive to create beautiful, functional and high quality solutions that delight customers. You have excellent problem solving skill, are full of energy and are always willing to help.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of front-end development work experience.
- Deep understanding of web application development and Javascript.
- Experience with writing and automating Javascript unit tests.
- Enthusiasm for writing elegant, testable clean code.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum.
- Great communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience from PHP is a plus.
- Strong verifiable contributions to Open Source software are a plus.
