In-memory platform application architect

You will help Starcounter´s customers to modularize their software/business needs into reusable and loosely coupled components. You will also mentor developers how to implement these components using Starcounter best practices.

You are passionate about reuse and software design patterns, especially within componentisation and event driven architectures. Buy weighting complexity and business agility, you will understand pros and cons of different designs and together with your team take well informed decisions. Where no existing pattern can be find, you see a great opportunity to invent a new one, document it and let the world know.
You have gained a lot of experience in implementing web services and you have seen how consistency competes with performance as transactions get intense. You know the pain of keeping APIs up to date but yet backward compatible. Maybe you are not convinced that the scaling out approach will solve the growing needs of constant access to real time data of the complete business.
Starcounter is a product company and our customers are primarily ISVs. Our product is already today well proven, but is constantly evolving. You will be instrumental in harvesting experiences from customers and bring it back to our product team.
You have long experience in C# and Java, and good knowledge the principles of development. Most likely you have an university exam within computer science or similar, but experience with complex architectural challenges is important as well.
