Essential Responsibilities
The department Instrument & Software at GE Healthcare Bio-Sciences in Uppsala develops instrument and software for analysis within protein sciences.
The department has +50 employees and most have an education for from a technical or natural science University.
We are looking for two software developers that could help us with some of the following tasks.
- Assist in ongoing software product development, implementation work in Windows, C# / .NET.
- Unit test development
- Automation of Smoke tests/User Interface testing
- Improve the automatic build routines for daily builds, incl presentation of results
- UX – rework/prototyping on possible new workflows
Qualifications/Requirements
- At least one year of University studies in computer sciences.
- Experience in working with computers.
- Knowledge in implementing software code.
- Fluent in the English language, both in verbal and written communication.
- Experience in software development in Windows, C++, C# and .NET
Other:
- Have a valid work permit
- All employees must conduct drug test and background check before start date.
Desired Characteristics:
- Strong ability to work on your own, but with support from available staff.
- Curios and interested in learning new techniques and building new contacts.
- Experience in software test automation, tools like QTP
- Experience of software build, daily builds
- Experience in MATLAB
