Senior Backend Developer

We are now looking for a Senior Backend Developer on behalf of 1928 Diagnostics!

As a backend developer at 1928 Diagnostics you will have the opportunity to work in the dynamic environment of a start-up to apply your passion for cloud computing and big data to give hospitals actionable insights on genetic data and defeat antibacterial resistance globally.

At the forefront of digital health, 1928 Diagnostics strives to bring the full value of Bioinformation Technology and Cloud Computing to revolutionize how health care fight antibiotic resistant bacteria.

As a backend developer you will work in a multi-disciplinary team with developers, bioinformaticians and product managers to shape and develop a world class roadmap for diagnostic Software-as-a-Service for the healthcare sector.

At 1928 they use the latest gene-sequencing, bio-IT and machine learning techniques. They leverage the best cloud services available to ensure that they supply their customers with scalable, real-time insights for clinical applications globally.

Qualifications:

- 5 years of experience from agile development teams
- Programming skills (Python)
- Database (Postgres,redis, or similar)
- Cloud Platforms (AWS)
- Experience with GIT
- Machine Learning skills such as clustering and classification is a plus
