Thule Group are now searching for a 3D Artist & Motion Designer to the Design Department in Hillerstorp, close to Värnamo.
To maintain Thule Group in the forefront in the field of graphic design the team has to be strengthened up with a new talented member.

As a 3D Artist & Motion Designer you will be involved in the development of new products such as equipment for cycling-, water- and winter sports, roof boxes, multi-functional strollers and bags etc.
You will be responsible for developing inspired concepts, designs, and animation, and will work with the rest of the creative team to oversee each project through to its completion.
You work closely with industrial designers, other graphic designers / illustrators but you will also be a member in cross functional project teams when developing products from concept to industrializing.

The main task as a 3D Artist & Motion Designer is that you shall produce animations from existing CAD and additional self-build geometries with the purpose of enhancing our functional benefits (Base of use, Safe and Hi quality, Contemporary) but with the main focus to make the end consumer better understand the functionalities of our products.

One key challenge for this positon is to take part in establishing an instruction animation work routine, that will further develop as additional deliverables are introduced.

Your profile:
You are a pro-active enthusiastic person with an entrepreneurial drive, a “can do attitude” and a team player.
We trust you have a structured and professional approach with flexibility in mind and consistent in delivery.
To succeed in this role we believe you are excellent in creative problem solving, strong understanding of a product design terminology as well as possessing a natural aesthetic aptitude.
Former experience from graphic design/Illustration for print and animation is seen as a great advantage.
You have basic knowledge in the common graphic design tools; Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop etc.
You have former experience in some of the following 3D softwares: VRED, Maya, 3D Studio Max, Alias, Keyshot, Showcase, SolidWorks etc..
An important requirement is that you have an Academic University degree in related fields – Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Art or equivalent documented experience in graphical knowledge as well as fluency in English.
