Job Description

Each product designer at Rebtel is an expert in specific parts of our service (be it sharing, onboarding or calling). They act like product managers in the sense they have a deep knowledge of subjects and feel excited about creating their own UX roadmap. With this comes responsibility of acting as a bridge between business, technical and customer service stakeholders - this enables the ability to make design decisions that not only work for the company but of course for our customers. Product designers take a pro-active stance in this sense - as they'll be creating briefs or hypotheses to test rather than waiting to be told what to do.

Along with more strategic aspects a product designer at Rebtel is someone who can of course move ideas through both user experience and user interface design stages of product development by creating prototypes and designs that are not only easy to use but delightful to experience.

Above all product designers at Rebtel are self sufficient, curious and problem solvers.

 
Requirements and skills

The tools you use are secondary (apart from Sketch!) but you should have your own views on what processes could be adopted when taking an idea from research to wireframe to prototype to final design. Lastly it's important to have experience in user research and usability testing.
