Enterprise Architect

About the team, role and responsibilities:
You will be an integral part of a team in Global Operations working with technically and financially estimates and design cost efficient cutting edge, technical solutions based on in-house and/or external requirements. Act as a subject matter expert in technical (-and where appropriate) business and functional requirements. Prepare presentations, architectural diagrams, procurement lists etc. and then follow/support the solution until it’s successfully is implemented and lessons learned has been finalized. The job is a mix of technical and functional design and financial estimation

You will work with the Operations & Devops, infrastructure and development organization to support the implementation and enhancement of customer solutions.
You will design and develop advanced technology solutions that enhance performance, capacity and modularity of our systems so that we can efficiently meet our clients’ needs.
You will apply best practices to address changing development, technology and business requirements
Act and behave as a trustworthy subject matter expert in the field of technical design
Be able to present and efficiently, professionally argue for a specific design in front of a diverse and senior assembly
Lead and drive enhancement of the technical/operational/functional aspects of the products.
Calculate the CAPEX/OPEX cost of new designs and efficiently present it in Excel and when applicable PowerPoint or other reports.
Participate and/or lead design studies as well as produce the applicable report
Solution architect in customer projects and technical pre-sales

Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:
University degree in computer science, programming or engineering physics
At least 6-8 years of work experience as an architect or infrastructure engineer

Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
Previous experience working with Linux, Unix, networks, applications servers, operating systems.
Experience from high performance persistence technologies
Experience in transaction intensive systems, ideally from financial systems
Excellent English language skills in written and spoken
Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others.
