Graduate Java developer for application development in Sterling

In your role you will participate in developing eCommerce applications as a member in our development teams. The Order Management Application Developer is overall responsible for:

- Developing order management and fulfilment applications utilising IBM Sterling Order Management Solutions
- Achieving the performance, availability and scalability of the applications
- Maintaining the functional interface to the application infrastructure
- Implementing core functionality for Order, Item, Price, Payment, Inventory, Fulfilment and Integration capabilities
- Utilising Out-Of-Band capabilities for distributed supply chains, approval flows and other Order Management Solutions capabilities including reporting
- Utilising consulting skills, business knowledge, and order management and fulfilment solution expertise to effectively integrate Order Management applications into the client's business environment in order to achieve client expected business results

Required skills
- Java/J2EE programming/environment
- Application server and database knowledge
- Communication skills so you can convey your ideas to the team colleague.
- Quick learner with an analytical mindset and good problem solving ability

Nice to have skills:
- XML and web technologies including AJAX, Web Services, and JSON.
- Oracle 11 or 12
- JMS messaging services
- Iterative and parallel development model
- Sterling OMS, Configuration and WebSphere Commerce architecture
- B2B or B2C store development experience
- Integration experience to fulfilment vendors, payment processing, e-mail service providers, and other ecommerce integrations
