Computer vision and Machine learning plays an essential role in eye tracking technology and mass market applications pose extremely challenging requirements.
We are looking for a driven computer vision expert to join our mission and tackle these challenges.
In the Algorithm team at Tobii you are an important part of the core technology team, responsible for the development of eye tracking algorithms in all our products.
The role and responsibilities
As an algorithm developer your code will not only bring eye tracking into the everyday life of potentially billions of people but also improve the life for people with disabilities and make a difference in the understanding of human behavior.
In this role you will:
- Improve our current computer vision algorithms
- Design and develop new ground breaking methods
- Optimize code to meet timing and memory requirements
- Implement algorithms with production code quality
- Make strategic decisions on future development
- Act as a mentor and advisor in the field of computer vision
We are looking for someone who has:
- Around 5 years of work experience in product R&D in fields related to image processing or computer vision
- Good knowledge of and experience in C++ and/or Python
- M.Sc. or PhD in engineering physics, computer science, mathematics or equivalent
If you have experience in implementation of image processing algorithms on embedded systems this is a great merit.
As a person you are driven by mathematical challenges and problem solving. You enjoy the beauty of clever and fast implementations of your algorithms and put pride it the quality of your code.
