Reliable algorithms play an essential role in eye tracking technology and mass market applications pose extremely challenging requirements on Tobii’s algorithm library.
As our Algorithm software architect, you will develop and maintain the architecture of the algorithm library that is at the heart of all Tobii’s eye tracking products and be an important part of taking eye tracking into the everyday life of potentially billions of people.

The role and responsibilities
As Tobii is growing, scalable software design becomes increasingly important.
You will also oversee the implementation and documentation of coding and test guidelines, as well as develop and educate the rest of the team in best practices and working processes for software development.
You will also be responsible for coordinating software system integration with other departments.
We are looking for someone who
- Has more than 5 years of work experience in Software development
- Has a deep understanding of C++ and Software Architecture
- Has an MSc or BSc in computer science or equivalent
It is of great merit if you have previous working experience with embedded software, hardware optimisation and/or test driven development. Are you used to Python and/or working in Linux we see this as a great plus!
