Web Application Tester

We are looking for a Web application Tester for our market-leading, web-based email marketing application Apsis Pro. Quality assurance is a vital part of our development and you will be a very important part of Apsis’ product development. 

At Apsis, we work with one of the market's most dynamic web-based software solutions and we are looking for a tester who loves new technology, web applications and browsers. You will be a part of our Agile Team and work together with the developers in Malmö and in Warsaw.

Your role:

• Review requirement specifications written in Gherkin (features and scenarios), design manually/automated test cases, exploratory testing.
• Conduct functional/non-functional tests
• Test of Web Services (REST and SOAP API)
• Close cooperation with the software testers, product owner and software developers (onsite and offshore)

Your background and your personality:

You are an experienced tester with high focus on quality assurance and a passion for software verification. You have been testing web-based tools and solutions. You are analytic and have a strong interest of our users' behaviour. You are interested to be involved, suggest improvements and make your ideas heard. You are an independent individual, curious, thorough, structured, analytic and driven. You have the ability to work well with others in a high-pressure environment and you are willing to make the effort and see pride in delivering a product with high quality.

Your profile:

• At least 3 years of experience from software testing
• Experience of assignments within web applications and web-based tools
• Experience of different test processes, test phases, test methods and test techniques
• Experience of manually designing test cases
• Fluent oral and written English is a must

Bonus skills:

• Experience of testing Web Services
• Experience of test automation and different script languages
• Experience of designing automated test cases
• Experience of TFS
• Experience of working with onsite and offshore teams
• Experience of BDD and DDD
• Experience of agile methodologies, e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean etc
• Good to have strong written/oral Swedish and/or Polish communication skills

You will enjoy working with our R&D team if you like to take on new challenges and working with a variety of projects. We work fast, but like to plan ahead and keep quality high. We play with internal and customer development, improvement of existing features, API and integrations.
