Senior Network Engineer

Klarna is growing rapidly and with increasing complexity in our IT infrastructure, we?re now in need of another senior network engineer. Klarna handles millions of transactions every year and our organisation is implementing more and more business-critical systems to address the needs of our expanding business.

IT Operations Core Services consists of system administrators, network administrators, a telephone manager and an architect.

Your mission is to design and develop Klarna?s network and parts of the IT security infrastructure in order to ensure we have the right solutions for communication between data centers and local offices, as well as maintaining a high performance, scalable global internet presence. You will plan and execute changes in the IT infrastructure across a broad spectrum of projects, including investigation, implementation, support and enhancement works. You will also be an expert advisor in network and security solutions within Klarna.

To be successful in the position you have previously worked as a network engineer for at least 5 years. You are used to handling business-critical real-time systems and have skills in routing, switching, security technologies and load balancing. You should have an open source background and have experience in Linux, IP networks, data center design and know how to build a highly secure and highly performant internet presence.

* Juniper EX, MX, QFX and JunOS
* Fortinet security appliances
* OSPF and BGP routing
* WLAN
* Load balancing with F5 and Netscaler
* IP Sec and other VPN solutions
* Monitoring tools such as Cacti and Nagios/OP5
* FCoE / SAN design
* Amazon AWS networking
* Cloud networking (OpenStack, CloudStack, VMWare NSX / VXLAN, etc)
