Academic Work is on behalf of our client Fotonic looking for a 3D Image Processing Engineer that wants to work with algorithm design, programming 3D cameras and related applications. Their office is located in the centre of Stockholm.

The mission is part of our staffing. You will be employed by the Academic Work, and work as a consultant at Fotonic. Fotonic's intention is that you will eventually be employed directly by them, provided all parties are satisfied with the cooperation.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As an 3D Image Processing Engineer you will work with algorithm design, programming 3D cameras and related applications, frameworks and APIs in C++ and Python and, to a limited amount, C. You are used to work with all the relevant image processing tools both 2D and 3D, like OpenCV, PCL etc. You will work with external development and deliveries according to a project plan put together by the customer or our internal team. You will work together in a smaller team with image processing experts. You will be reporting to the CTO SW.

For example, you will work with:

* Customer specific applications
* Data acquisition
* Algorithm development and testing
* Profiling
* Developing application solutions using our 3D cameras

This position suits you if you’re interested in developing your skills within computer vision and 3D processing, working in a creative environment within a company that lies at the forefront in the latest technology.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* A candidate with a degree within computer engineering or other relevant fields

* Someone with knowledge or experience in digital signal processing
* Someone who has knowledge or experience in computer vision and pattern recognition
* Someone who has knowledge or experience in advanced image and video processing
* Someone who has knowledge or experience from data science and analysis
* Someone who has knowledge or experience from navigation and tracking
* Someone who has knowledge or experience from cloud computing
* Sometime with good command of Swedish and English, written and spoken, due to the fact that you will have regular contact with clients on daily basis

It will be considered an additional qualification if you:

* Have knowledge in machine-learning, including deep-learning
* Have in-depth knowledge in one of the following technologies: Linux, Boost, Cmake or PCL
* Have knowledge of mathematical computing using numpy or Matlab
* Have experience from working with Robot Operating System (ROS)

If you have previous experience having worked with 3D graphics or employing 3D algorithms and working with point-cloud or depth data, this is considered a strong plus.
