Academic Work is looking for a Junior Software Tester to the globally renowned and cutting edge industrial company Atlas Copco.

In this role you will be part of the Software Testing team, which consists of 15 senior colleagues from who you have a great opportunity to learn. Atlas Copco is concerned with educating and developing their employees, and we are therefore looking for someone who is eager to learn and takes initiatives to develop professionally. ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a Junior Software Tester you will work with manual and automatic testing of software in the hardware products. In order to do this you will be required to understand the functionality of these products embedded system, combined with the implemented software. There are clear routines and guidelines for the testing processes and you will be involved in performing different types and levels of software testing. You will be working in a project based environment always aiming to deliver in best quality yet stick to preset milestones and dead-lines. Therefore team-work is as important as working independently in this role. This is a long-term position where you will get the chance to develop and learn new things along the way.

For example, you will:

* Conduct manual testing of software products
* Edit test scripts and compare between manual and automatic tests
* Create/update test documents according to the system requirements.
* Continuously learn and develop in order to take more responsibility

This position suits you if you are looking for a long-term junior position where you get the chance to learn and develop. It also suits you if you enjoy working in an international environment. Furthermore we see that you have a big interest in software testing but you also feel comfortable working hands-on with hardware products.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* Have a Bachelor or Master degree within mechatronics, electronics, computer technology or similar

* Knows basic Python, Java, C++ and Script
* Speaks English at a professional level since you need to be able to communicate with your co-workers

It will be considered an additional qualification if you…

* Have 1-2 years of previous work experience from testing
* Have worked in a lab or have other hands-on work experience

As a person we are looking for someone who takes initiatives and who is eager to learn. You take responsibility for your own work and have the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Furthermore, you can organize, structure and prioritize your work tasks.
