Role Summary/Purpose:

Essential Responsibilities:
- The thesis work will focus on the development of a software solution for automated production of Hardware documentation CD’s. The CD will contain the product documentation for the end customer and is a part of the product.
- The CD layout must accompany the GE branding rules and guidelines. The interface should be easy for the end customer to navigate in. Export functionality from CD to customer file folder structure should be provided.
- The application GUI should be easy to understand and use. Configuration possibilities according to different product structures and set-up of product templates is included. Automated and smart functionality to ease and minimize work effort is important.
- Development will involve functions such as CBS, product management, manufacturing and IT whereas communication and collaboration skills is high valued.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master
- Strong interest in computer programming
- HTML, XML and CSS knowledge
- System architecture knowledge
