About Group IT

Group IT is located in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are 1400 employees responsible for running the bank, developing and maintening business strategic and central systems in Swedbank.

All development is managed in projects and we deliver approximately 600 projects and pre-studies during a business year.

Through understanding and acting from the needs of our internal customers, we offer the group competitive IT-solutions which support new products and high level services to our clients.

We are looking for someone to take the lead in the development of our Javascript framework for our new online bank. Take this great opportunity to influence critical services used daily by our millions of customers!

Assignment specification

In this role you are expected to develop and maintain our framework, manage design and architectual questions and also support other developers. Apart from your technical expertise you are also easily able to cooperate with other teams.

Our front-end platform is based on Angular JS. Some of the other technologies we use in our environment are GIT, Jenkins and Gulp. The front end communicates with our Java back end through REST services that are developed in house by us and other teams. Since the team also works with the Java platform, experience of Java development is advantegeous but not mandatory.

TDE Infrastructure and Security belongs to Digital Banking IT. Beside the front-end framework the team also develops and maintains shared components, services and infrastructure within our online channels such as identification & authorization, BankID solutions and fraud prevention.

We are looking for you who have experience of:

Web development in Javascript
HTML5 and CSS
REST or JSON services
Front-end frameworks
It is considered advantage to have experience of:

Angular JS 1 or 2
Continuous integration & delivery
Java/Java EE development
Git and different branching models
Proactive system maintenance
Test frameworks (Jasmine/Karma)
Familiar with Linux/Unix
We expect you to have at least a Bachelor´s degree in the relevant field, as well as be fluent in English, both written and oral.
