IT Infrastructure Engineer to Swedish Space Corporation

SSC Group - IT Infrastructure Engineer
We are looking for an IT professional with minimum 5 years of experience to join our IT Infrastructure group to help us support the organization with global common IT.
SSC IT department is divided in Infrastructure and Service Desk & Workplace. Together we are responsible for 5 datacenters and deliver a secure and stable IT system for all our employees worldwide. The Infrastructure group delivers server HW/OS and application support / maintenance mostly in a windows environment running on a VMware platform. The SSC IT Sweden is seated in Esrange Space Center in Kiruna and Head Office in Stockholm.

• Maintenance and development of our platforms
• Hardware support
• Evaluation of hardware and software
• Deploy new services

Essential experience:

• Deep and documented knowledge in Microsoft server side operating system and Active Directory (e.g. MTCS:  Windows Server 2008 )
• Deep and documented knowledge in VMware, (VCP – VMware Certified Professional)
• Good knowledge in hardware server and storage from brands like HP, EMC
• Good knowledge of security and hardening of the server side operating system and software.
• Good knowledge of networking and TCP/IP.

Technical expertise in the following are highly beneficial:

• Knowledge of SharePoint 2010-2013
• Knowledge of Cisco equipment like switches, routers, wireless and firewall.
• Experience from Citrix environment.
• Strong ability to understand technical issues and apply technical concepts.
