PD Baseband in Lund, Sweden, within PDU 4G5G, is looking for talented software professionals that want to be part of bringing the latest in telecommunications to the market; such as Massive IOT (Internet of Things), 5G and LAA (License Assisted Access).

PD Baseband is responsible for development of software for LTE/5G features, covering LTE layer 1 to 3, that run on Ericsson's proprietary multi-core hardware

You will work in one of our Cross Functional Teams (XFTs), where you will have to the possibility to take part all the way from system design to verification and trouble shooting in customer networks.

Wanted skills

Proven track record as a software craftsman, including verification
Ability to move from detailed technical issues up to end-to-end level
Industry experience of LTE Radio access technology within at least one of the functional areas systemization, software design or verification
Mastering of several programming languages, including C/C++
User level knowledge / experience of Git/Gerrit
User level knowledge / experience of UNIX/LINUX
Know reputation as being a team player
Interest / experience in the concepts of Lean and Agile Ways of working including driving continuous improvements of products and processes
Communication and presentation skills
Good written and spoken English.

Meriting skills / experience

Experience of 3GPP LTE specifications in physical layer and/or MAC layer
Experience of embedded real-time software development in a multi-core architecture
Experience of test driven development (TDD)
Education:
Master of Science in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
