WE ARE NOW LOOKING FOR
Snow develops software products that are used by thousands of corporate and enterprise customers throughout the world. We aim to balance the adaption of new technology with quality and scalability in order to best serve our customers’ multi-platform needs.
Behind one of our most important products, Software Recognition Service, is a Team of 20 located at our Stockholm office. The Team consists of 3 individual teams where one of them, Recognition Technology, is looking for a new front-end developer.
 
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Recognition Technology team consists of 2 testers, one back-end developer and a team lead who now need a front-end champion to strengthen their already amazing team! Your main tasks will be developing and maintaining of our internal tools specialized for data analysis and helping you back-end colleague move those tools toward the web.  
If you are an experienced developer who appreciates the complexity of building web applications in a structured way, you are the one we are looking for. It would be preferable if you have around three years of experience in the field and a passion for web development. You are proactive and pay attention to scalability, usability and maintainability of the systems you develop.  
 
YOUR BACKGROUND AND KNOWLEDGE
MUST HAVE
 
• Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript
• Proficiency in modern web framework(s) e.g. Aurelia, Angular 2, React
• Familiar with modern CSS libraries or view libraries e.g. Bootstrap, Angular Material
• Solid understanding of the full web stack (e.g. HTTP, headers, caching, etc.)
• Familiar with C#/.NET
• Ability to write code that can support modular/scalable UI architecture
• Ability to consume REST API's
• Proficient oral and written English skills
 
NICE TO HAVE
 
• Familiar with Node.js
• Linux/Unix experience
• Willingness and motivation to work with Windows Forms
• Experience with responsive design patterns
• Proven open-source collaboration or personal GitHub projects related to data analysis
• Experience with UI testing using third party tools e.g. cucumber/capybara, karma, mocha or jasmine
