Job description

At PDU 4G5G RAN Product Integration and Release (PIR), our responsibility is to ensure that the quality and functionality of both LTE and 5G RAN to fulfill our customer expectations. Today we work in an international environment with colleagues in Europe, Asia, and North America. We are looking for software developers to our teams with a strong interest in both verification, continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD). At PDU 4G5G PIR we work with the product end-to-end enabling a very broad view of the complete system in a customer like environment.

The role requires individuals who demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, possesses strong team working and communication skills, and are highly motivated in learning the 4G/5G wireless protocols. You need to manage a changing product scope, normal project work as well as continuous evaluation and improvement of our processes and ways of working. We expect you to always act with flexibility and find solutions better than yesterday.

PDU 4G5G is leading the transition towards Lean and Agile and we work with continuous improvements and Scrum/Kanban in our daily operation. Automation is a central part of our daily work. Short feedback loops are important in our development process, which is based on Continuous Integration practices.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements

MSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge;
Excellent English Skills;
Programming in Java, C/C++ or equivalent;
Knowledge in Telecomunication and Radio;
Communication skills;
Knowledge sharing & Collaboration skills;
Coaching & Mentoring skills;
Team player.

Preferred qualifications & experience requirements

Knowledge in Cloud;
Lean & Agile Knowledge and Skills;
Automated SW testing;
Linux environment;
Good knowledge in the areas of network security and vulnerability analysis;
Knowledge of LTE/5G wireless protocols.
