About Group IT

Group IT is located in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are 1400 employees responsible for running the bank, developing and maintening business strategic and central systems in Swedbank.

All development is managed in projects and we deliver approximately 600 projects and pre-studies during a business year.

Through understanding and acting from the needs of our internal customers, we offer the group competitive IT-solutions which support new products and high level services to our clients.

Cards is a department within the Group Products IT division. Our high critical systems support transactions daily for millions of card users in Sweden and in the Baltic countries. We operate in a very fast moving environment in tight cooperation with our internal customers in Business Area Group Cards. This area is characterized by high business demands, speed, a continuous efficient development and maintenance with high quality. The volumes in customers and transactions are increasing and the roadmap in the next coming years is ambitious. Nordic Acquiring is responsible for the Clearing and Settlement business in the Nordic countries.

Assignment specification

Here´s an opportunity to join our team as a Senior Developer. The position offers varying development opportunities covering both new development and maintenance with a highly competent team. You will work in an Agile development team with the goal to perform at their best and ensure that we our deliveries are of high quality. We started our agile journey last summer so there's also an excellent opportunity to affect the way we work. We have two teams and you will work closely with the Scrum Master in the other team.

We are looking for someone with long experience in:

COBOL, DB2, Mainframe, IMS
Banking preferably Cards
Your personal skills are:

Great analytic capability
Self-driven
In the team we are dependent on each other’s knowledge. We are also in close cooperation with other departments within Cards and the rest of the bank. The role requires communication skills along with a cooperative mindset. Good knowledge in both written and spoken English and Swedish is required.
