About Group IT

Group IT is located in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are 1400 employees responsible for running the bank, developing and maintening business strategic and central systems in Swedbank.

All development is managed in projects and we deliver approximately 600 projects and pre-studies during a business year.

Through understanding and acting from the needs of our internal customers, we offer the group competitive IT-solutions which support new products and high level services to our clients.

Assignment specification

We are looking for a person who wants to work as a specialist in our test data and common test environments team. The environments are based on mainframe platform IBM z/OS. We are service oriented and support IT-projects to have data and environments that fit the purpose. Regular restores with on call duties is a part of this work. The team is a part of the zOS and Common Functions and works together on support in development and production setting activities.

This job will give you opportunity to develop a deeper knowledge about test data and the z/OS platform test environment and you will share this knowledge with colleagues and our users.

Your tasks consist of:

Supporting IT projects with specialist knowledge within the IBM z/OS platform test data, environment and development cycle
To keep the environments updated with up to date data
Share your knowledge in the most suitable way ex. phone, mail, forums, training
Making suggestions for improvements
Take on on-call weekend work for common test environment restores
We will provide mentorship during your knowledge build-up and expects you to have engagement and curiosity within the field and an extensive Swedbank experience as well as zOS mainframe background

Previous roles relevant for this position, e.g.

Mainframe developer or working in mainframe maintenance and knows Swedbank development and test processes
