Product Development Baseband (PD BB) is part of Product Development Unit 4G&5G (PDU 4G&5G). We are responsible for driving baseband software development (e.g signal processing, scheduling, etc) by having competence and capability to take on end-to-end feature responsibility i.e. enabling feature requirements to become fully implemented and verified. This includes product ownership of the radio base station (RBS) baseband software products as well as responsibility for development plans and securing maintenance of the products. We are based in Stockholm, Lund, Ottawa, and Beijing.

Position Summary

As a senior baseband software designer, you will develop and maintain 5G baseband software products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions), including development activities like requirement analysis, design, software coding, integration, verification, configuration management, maintenance support, product documentation.
In this position you will work in a team that has end-to-end responsibility for a 5G baseband software feature development or a part of the 5G architecture. Your part will primarily be to do systemization on feature level, feature implementation and together with testers secure the functionality in an integrated system.
A successful candidate will be highly motivated, autonomous and innovative. You will be part of a dynamic team working on the implementation and enhancement of the 5G baseband software. It is necessary to be flexible and thereby being able to handle the work needed in order for the team to achieve its goals.

Responsibilities & Tasks

o Implementation of 5G baseband architecture, functionality and features
o 5G feature systemization and participate in pre-studies as needed
o Perform trouble shooting and customer support
o End-to-end feature responsibility
o Perform Continuous Analysis and Requirement Handling
o Primarily develop but also test high quality products
o Drive continuous improvements of products and processes

Position Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
