At Ivbar, we are moving forward in our development and making major investments in Sweden and abroad in our market and product development organisations. We are now looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our multi-disciplinary team environment. Together with a wide variety of colleagues, ranging from analysts and data scientists to medical experts, you will provide technical solutions to support healthcare organisations sustainably improve outcomes and reduce costs.
Your role as a Python Developer
As a Python Developer, you will manage the development of our backend advanced analytics products and bring insights from these to our end users in formats they find attractive, easy to use and will appreciate in their daily work. We strongly believe that doctors, nurses and administrative personnel in health care should have the same user experience using our products as they have when using their favorite applications in their private life.
You will play an important role in shaping the features and architecture of our leading platform and will be responsibility for all aspects of the software development, including participating in architecture discussions, testing, analysing and prioritising requirements in an agile environment. You will work with a complete end-to-end perspective of our systems, covering development, maintenance, operations and IT-security. The development encompasses over the entire tech stack and, depending on your own interest, you can focus on either backend or frontend development.
Your skills and qualifications
You have a solid technical background, experience in multiple of the major languages/libraries/systems and knows your way around Python. At Ivbar we manly use: Python, Django, Postgresql, Nginx, GNU/Linux, Javascript (ES 2015 with Babel), React, D3, HTML/CSS, Git and Jenkins.
You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar, or are self-taught with the taught to the equivalent level. You are fluent in English. Working knowledge of Swedish is a plus as experience with IT-security (e.g. network and application security, threat management, IDS/IPS), DevOps, the healthcare industry and/or managing large amounts of data.
You have a track record of finding pragmatic solutions to complex problems with maintainable code and have a genuine interest in technology. You are intellectually curious, self-driven, committed and you make things happen. You are also a collaborative team player who thrives working as part of a team to achieve success.
