The job involves block design within customers digital ASIC projects.
The goal of the block design is that the implementation of the functional requirements of our blocks is fulfilled before tape-out of the ASIC.
The work includes:
-Design verification (regression + development verification)
-Miscellaneous tasks in connection to the block design
A successful candidate is a highly experienced ASIC Design Engineer with good understanding and knowledge about HW designs.
Both written and spoken English skills are required. Personal profile should also include a positive attititude, a desire to assist fellow engineers, structured way of working, care with details and a natural talent in communicating with others.
You enjoy working both independently and in teams and you are focused on reaching result on time. As a person you must be thorough and able to work with many different people. The work will be carried out in close cooperation with the block verifier.
-Experienced in Hardware design/systemization
-Excellent programming skills (VHDL)
-Good programming skills (Verilog)
-Good scripting skills using e.g. Python and/or Perl
-Good DFT (Design For Test) knowledge
-Experienced in HW design methodology
-Knowledge of reference model development
-Knowledge of verification methodology
-Knowledge about DMA implementations (Dynamic Memory Controller)
-Knowledge of High Level Synthesis using e.g. the Calypto tool
-Knowledge in HW verification using e.g. SV/UVM and/or Specman
-Knowledge of SW design for an embedded environment
-Good programming skills (C, C++, System C)
-Experienced in WCDMA, GSM and/or LTE systems
