Web Designer to exciting Gaming company

Ellmount is seeking a Web Designer who has experience in designing and developing tactical marketing and branding efforts, online banner ads and optimizing landing pages. Our ideal candidate will have a strong sense for design, efficient front-end dev skills and some marketing experience.

You will
- Work with a team of passionate marketers to brainstorm online marketing campaigns that impact the bottom line
- Design branded ads that achieve high clickthrough rates and optimize for performance
- Conceptualize and optimize landing pages for conversions
- Develop squeeze pages with html, CSS, json, mustache and node.js (a plus, but not required)
- Hypothesize, execute and report on A/B testing campaigns to achieve optimal performance

You are a self-starter who can effectively work within a strong team culture while being independent in managing your business. It is important that you’re creative, and like to come up with new ideas, as you’re going to come up with new text and visual content in this position. Additionally, your code is structured, and you believe coding is a craftsmanship that you’re passionate about. You have the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, network internally to get things done and be accountable for decisions. We believe you have a "can do attitude" with a focus on meeting deadlines, being part of a dynamic team and having fun.

You need to have
- 2+ years overall digital design experience and a solid design eye
- 5+ years of professional web design experience, specifically with online advertising and squeeze pages
- Solid understanding of HTML 5, CSS 3 and JavaScript (ECMAScript 2015 and newer is a plus)
- Working knowledge of MVVM frameworks such as Knockout and/or React.
- Comfortable as a copywriter, occasionally writing ad copy as needed
- Skilled with Adobe creative suite, Sketch, or equivalent design software
- Solid design achievements as shown by portfolio of tactical marketing and ad pieces
- Experience with, and enjoy using photoshop and illustrator
- An understanding of basic A/B testing and its importance
